Edmunds compares 335i, 135i, and 2002 M3 - M3 and 135i tie, but M3 gets the edge based on sticker price. I wish they would have taken into account the cost of ownership. The 135i comes with full maintenance and warranty. Buying a used luxury sports car will cost you more in upkeep and god forbid you have a major problem. Also, the “combined” MPG for the M3 is 17 miles, while the 135i is 21 miles.
